The HERRING company was established in 1992. Initially, the plant was engaged in traditional fish smoking. In 1997 we specialized in herring processing and became involved in the trade of frozen fish. The company has a very convenient location due to logistics – it is located in central Poland, not far from Toruń, in Wielka Nieszawka. A great advantage of the plant is also its location near the beautiful and clean forests of the Bydgoszcz Forest, and clean air is also an important factor in food production. The company has undergone many upgrades over the years, underwent its latest expansion in 2017 and is planning more. It meets all EU sanitary requirements and has modern machinery. The raw material for production is mainly herring, which we import from Norway, fished in the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic. The main directions of production are salted and marinated fish preparations and herring salads. We also offer pasteurized fish. Atlantic Herring

Herring is a well-known delicacy of Polish cuisine for centuries, traditionally used in Lenten dishes. It is a marine fish that has a high content of Omega 3 acids. Herring is also a rich source of vitamins A, D, E and B vitamins, which are responsible for the healthy appearance of hair and skin. In addition to their health benefits, herrings have excellent taste. They are a common ingredient in salads and snacks, but can also be served as a main course.
